Sundaze in Santa Fe | Featuring Rhea Footwear

If the Instagram algorithm has been hiding my posts from your feed, you might not know that I just returned home after two full weeks of traveling - first, to a work conference in Washington D.C, then home to central Pennsylvania, and finally, to Walt Disney World.

If I'm being totally honest with you, coming home has hit me hard. I landed on Tuesday evening but spent the rest of the week knocked down by a headache, behind on work, and with the contents of my bags thrown all over the house.

And then, there's that post-Disney malaise. I mean, no Violet Lemonade, no animatronic rides with catchy songs, no Soarin'.

Life is hard, you guys.

So, yesterday, I spent the day trying to recouperate. I even managed an entire load of laundry before the headache put me in bed at 7:00.

Today, I decided that the only way to shake it off was going to be with brunch in Santa Fe. If I'm being honest, I don't feel a whole lot better physically but a cute outfit is good for any girl's mood.

D.C was cold. Orlando was really hot. And Santa Fe is well, somewhere in the middle.

This dress from VinnieLouise was a Christmas gift but it couldn't be more perfect for the transitioning weather. While I loved it all Winter with fleece leggings, it's just the right length to wear with sheer tights, too.

Because this dress makes a big statement on its own, I'm always trying to find the perfect shoes and these black booties from Rhea Footwear totally fit the bill. The best part? They didn't even need broken in. I've worn them for a fancy dinner out, to a work conference all day, and now, for a casual brunch. They've become a fast favorite.

And the accessories? Of course they needed to include a hint of Disney magic.

I don't think #SorcererMickeySunday is a thing but it probably should be.
